Limbr - Sam Batterton

Sam Batterton

Strength & conditioning

Sam is passionate about facilitating his clients through their mid to end-stage rehabilitation, addressing running biomechanics and providing progressive load management. He is committed to helping his clients reach their goals, whether they be sporting or lifestyle based.

Sam is a qualified strength & conditioning coach and completed an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the Australian Catholic University in 2015. His love of sport and dedication to providing the best outcomes for his clients motivated Sam to further his studies and complated a Masters in High Performance Sport in 2021.

When he’s not at Limbr, Sam currently works as the High Performance Manager in the AFLW with Melbourne Football Club. What Sam enjoys most about working in sport is understanding all aspects of what clients need to do to optimise their performance. Sam loves applying his extensive experience in sports alongside our multidisciplinary Limbr team to deliver an elite, client-centred experience. He loves going on the entire injury journey with his clients. From the point of injury to improving that person to a level greater than what they were pre-injury.

Away from work, Sam enjoys running, playing golf (albeit not very well), surfing and catching up with friends for a beer. He’s also always up for a chat about AFL or any other sport for that matter.

Sam is joining the Limbr team on February 27, working Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s.
