Find relief from osteoarthritis with osteopathy
Here at Limbr, we pride ourselves on a thorough assessment and examination to understand your issues at hand. Typically in your first consultation you will have an in-depth conversation with your practitioner around your injury, how it happened, your medical and injury history. From there, we will perform a movement and physical assessment to understand your injury and how your body moves. From there, depending on the service you are utilising we will perform either some manual therapy aimed to help improve your symptoms or prescribe exercises to reduce your pain and improve your movement patterns.
Due to appointments typically involving either manual therapy or some exercise prescription, we ask you to wear loose and comfortable clothing. Typically in a treatment, you may be asked by your practitioner to remove some top layer clothing to allow for an in-depth movement assessment so please let us know if you are not comfortable doing this.
No you don’t. We are an allied health clinic that doesn’t require a referral from your doctor. You may have heard about us from your friends and family and that’s the only referral you’ll need!
Yes. Provided your private health insurances has the services you are utilising at the clinic in your extras cover then a portion of your consultation will be rebated by your private health insurances.
Just like school you will be provided some homework to do and we expect you to do it! Our time with you in the clinic is fleeting and to consolidate on our treatment and exercise outcomes we will require you to listen to our advice and complete some lifestyles changes/exercises to reduce the risk of re-injury or your symptoms worsening before we see you in the clinic again!
