Courtney Shaw
Osteopath, Clinical Pilates
Courtney’s passion for osteopathy stems from a life immersed in sports—netball, ballet, running, and water skiing—and the injuries that come with them. She began her career as a sports trainer for VAFA Premier League football teams in Melbourne before moving overseas to refine her women’s health and paediatric osteopathy skills.
With over five years of experience, Courtney has developed a special interest in treating acute and chronic pain, including low back and neck pain, headaches, vertigo, pre-and post-natal care, and paediatric patients. She uses a tailored approach, blending firm and gentle techniques alongside exercise prescription to address the root cause of discomfort.
Courtney has undertaken further studies in clinical mat and reformer Pilates, paediatric osteopathy, and vertigo and vestibular rehabilitation. These skills allow her to guide patients through comprehensive rehabilitation programs that improve function, stability, and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys camping, hiking, travelling, and exploring the outdoors with her partner and dog.
