Limbr - Finn Diamond

Finn Diamond

Physiotherapist

Fresh from across the ditch, Limbr is excited to welcome Finn Diamond, a New Zealand trained Physiotherapist. He is passionate about helping people move better, recover confidently, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Coming to Limbr with experience in one of Wellington’s best sports physiotherapy clinics, Finn has worked with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back pain, neck pain, shoulder injuries, knee pain, ankle sprains, and sporting injuries. He combines hands-on physiotherapy treatment with structured strength and conditioning programs to support both recovery and long-term physical resilience.

Finn takes a patient-centred approach to physiotherapy. He prioritises clear communication, education, and collaboration so patients feel informed and supported throughout their rehabilitation. His treatment approach commonly includes:

  • Manual therapy and hands-on techniques
  • Objective strength testing using dynamometry
  • Dry needling
  • Individualised strength and conditioning programs

  • Exercise-based rehabilitation

  • Injury prevention strategies

He is a strong advocate for tailored exercise prescription to address not just symptoms, but the contributing factors behind injury and pain.

Finn has a particular interest in sports physiotherapy, especially football (soccer) and surfing-related injuries. As a current VPL1 football player with the Eltham Redback and former Physiotherapist for Western Suburbs FC (2024–2025), he has practical exposure to the physical demands of competitive sport and lower limb injury management.

He regularly works with conditions such as:

  • Hamstring strains

  • Groin pain

  • ACL and knee injuries

  • Ankle sprains

  • Calf strains

  • Tendinopathy

Finn understands the importance of graded return-to-sport programming and combines sport-specific strength work with hands-on treatment to support safe progression back to training and competition.

Additional Qualifications

  • Dry Needling, including electrostimulation

  • Strength and Conditioning for Therapists – Claire Minshull

  • ActiveForce 2 Dynamometry Testing

Outside the clinic, Finn spends much of his time training and playing football. He also enjoys surfing, attempting to improve his golf game, catching up with friends, and finding Melbourne’s best double-shot coffee.
