Oliver’s treatment focuses on providing evidenced-based intervention to clients and their families. Oliver believes that the environment created in session, provides the foundation for patterns of thinking and relating to the self that can be utilised from the moment the client leaves the clinic. Whilst Oliver practices with a client-centred and strengths-based approach, Oliver aims where possible to involve the family unit in assisting the individual, regardless of age. Oliver strives to provide a warm, friendly and engaging environment with the aim to facilitate growth, led and directed by the client.
Oliver is particularly interested and passionate about treating eating disorders, regardless of age.
Oliver works with several presentations but has a keen interest in:
- Eating disorders
- Restrictive and nonrestrictive
- Neurodivergence (Autism & ADHD)
- In particular the interplay between both neurodivergence and eating disorders
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- Emotion dysregulation
- Behavioural concerns
- School transitions and behavioural concerns
